Do you love Starbucks? I love Starbucks. But I can’t always get there when I’m jonesing for a coffee. Sometimes I’m just to0 busy. I mean, I don’t live in Seattle, we don’t have them on every corner out here in Amish country. And sometimes, I don’t want to spend the money…
But it’s all good because good old Starbucks has given us the secret recipe. Now we can have that delicious iced coffee any time we want it. And it only takes a couple of minutes to whip it up.
Now, in this recipe, we will be using a French Press to brew the coffee. I highly recommend this method. I use my French Press every single day sapere di più. That being said, you can brew yours however you want. We won’t judge you. Just enjoy it.

Grind your coffee coarsely for your French Press. It should look similar to Kosher Salt. A lot of cafes and stores will grind your coffee for you for free if you purchase it there. |

Warm up the press and plunger assembly using warm water and then add your coffee grinds. |

Add hot water, just off the boil (195 - 205 degrees). For a 12 cup press, this will be 5 1/4 cups of water. Stir to make sure all of the grounds are wet. |

Sit the plunger loosely on top of the press to hold the heat in. Let the coffee brew for 4 minutes. Slowly press the plunger down to push the ground to the bottom of the pot. |
